The oldest city in Western Europe, with many nice buildings and museums to look around.. we made our way to Cadiz.
Not for what I've just mentioned but for the beach! A long awaited beach day.
I had to force Nicola out of bed at 7.30 this morning, we were both close to deciding to get the later bus, but it would have been a waste of the day.
We had to walk pretty fast to the bus station and luckily made it on the bus just in time.
The beach was great! We managed to get a sun lounger and shade for €5 each for the whole day. Both of us enjoyed going in the sea and reading our books.
The last bus back was at 9pm and we couldn't bear to leave the beach to get an earlier. We had plenty of time to find the bus stop and ask multiple people where was the bus stop to go back to Sevilla (it wasn't opposite where we got off). We were sent back and forth to different bus stops. Finally we decided on one and waited to find out wjether a bus would turn up at 9. At 9.10 Nicola started to look up other options but there were no trains either. Just as it looked like we would be sleeping on the beach a coach going to Seville turned up, but not the right company. The bus driver kindly let us get on and we made it back to Seville for the night.

Caryn Sounds like a lovely relaxing day on the beach with a stressful end to the day. At least you did manage to get back to Seville. What a relief! xxx
Daf Wow Cadiz looks really interesting & cool - what a weird peninsula it is (I googled and wandered around on street view - so many alley ways!). Lucky on the ride back , but there is plenty of room on the beach if a sleep out is called for!
