So today I went to San Sebastián. For the first time in what feels like a long time I was in less than 30 degrees heat. It's strange how quickly your body adapts to different temperature, as 24 degrees felt chilly. However when I returned to Pamplona, and it was 34 degrees at 7pm, I had to adjust all over again.
In San Sebastián I walked around the city and the whole beach. Again it was a very nice place to walk around and see the buildings. I managed to find plenty of time to sit and read on the beach as well.
When I returned to Pamplona I prepared myself for the nightbus - had a shower, had dinner and made some arrangements for going to Portugal.
For the second time in a row I left my Tupperware with spare food in in the fridge of the hostel, very frustrating.
The bus was leaving at 10 and from Pamplona I was the only. They had contracted a minivan driver to take me to the next bus station where people were getting on. He was speaking to me the whole way, but I could barely hear him because of the windows being open. 5 minutes before the bus station he parked the van and his wife was waiting with his car and he drove me the rest of the way in that, very strange. Especially as his wife started shouting at him as soon as he got out the van that 'she would only speak to me' and 'she was very angry', not sure why she was angry, but I found her quite scary. On the coach there was only one other person. They didn't mind me taking the 5 seats at the back and I actually managed to sleep a fair bit!

Daf What a strange travel experience! San Seb looks a little overcast but I guess you were glad for a cooler time. Have a good trip to Portugal and keep up the blogs, they're really nice to read and certainly brighten up my day. XX
