Kia Ora Everyone!

We arrived in Christchurch on Tuesday 15th February and were picked up at the airport by 'The Pig', one of Kie's school friends! He was currently staying at Louis and Lauren's, which is where we were going to stay too. En route we were subject to a temperamental car, deciding to overheat and breakdown twice! We got there in the end though, and it was a comical start to the Kiwi adventure. We spent the evening catching up, eating a takeaway and Sophie played with the two puppies Eddie (Staffy) and Turkish (Bulldog) while Kie watched the replay of the England v Italy game from the weekend.

We woke up earlyish the next day and got ourselves ready to go and pick up our campervan from Wicked. After picking up 'The Beast', we made our way back to Louis' via a few unintentional detours courtesy of 'The Pig' (aka, we got lost!) We packed up our things and hit the road!

During our campervan adventures, our blogs will be day-by-day rather than written by place, as it'll be easier to follow!
