(Day 20)

Kia Ora!

We woke up fairly early and sat around eating breakfast before Lappin had to get ready to go. Kie took Lappin to the airport ready for his 11 am flight. When Kie got back we got ready to go to Akaroa for the day. We set off in our campervan which had remained unused for the past couple of days. The scenery to Akaroa was beautiful and it was a lovely, sunny day. Once we arrived in Akaroa we walked along the sea front and found ourselves in a fish and chip shop where we had some lunch in the sunshine. We filled our van up for the last time, this time filling up water bottles to take back to Christchurch with us.

Once we arrived back in Christchurch we went straight to the supermarket and bought some goodies to cook for Lauren and Louis. We got back and played with the puppies, chilling out in the cool for a while before Lauren and Louis returned home from work and we started on dinner. We cooked pasta bake and it was a success!

We had another chilled out evening, watching TV before going to bed.
