(DAY 15)

Kia Ora!

We woke up to another beautiful day but it was so windy. We headed straight for the Kaikoura Whale Watch to see if they were still flying and if we'd be able to go - although they could fly the advised it might be better, if we had the time, to put it off for the following day. We decided to take the advice and wandered around the town for a bit before deciding to call the day a write-off and going into Global Gossip to catch up on our blog. Unfortunately our blog site was still playing up and we didn't get as much done as we'd hoped but still, it passed some time.

Sophie, feeling a little under the weather, went back to the camper to read her book in bed for a bit before enjoying some of the brilliant sunshine.

As we didn't want to stay another night at the same place, we opted to move on and drove round three different sites before eventually staying at the Lobster Inn, which was nice enough and well kept - the only thing that let it down was the coin operated showers! We had been pigging out for much of the day and even treated ourselves to Subway's so we weren't overly hungry come dinner time and just had soup before watching a film in bed.
