Smithsonian Saga goes Cyber
So what does Roz do with a Sunday to herself? She drives an hour and a half to go to church at Bethel Community in Redding. Just the parking was an experience to behold... with hotel shuttles and parking attendants directing traffic in four different parking lots!
Inside the church a most divine incense wafted from the coffee shop HeBrews. (My caramel macchiato was undeniably made with holy grounds as it brought me much comfort and joy.)
The sanctuary was huge... the band was complete with strings and a choir... and two young women danced with flags like wings. It was perhaps just a glimpse of the celebration of Heaven. It was definitely no ordinary church... but then again... He's no ordinary God!

Tony Wow, sounds like quite an opportunity! Wish we could've been there. Had our ventriloquist friend back on Sunday, so it was a pretty good laugh all morning.
Carollee Norris I have been to a service at Bethel and thought the same thing. Worship is such a transforming experience! Oh that we would lose some of our inhibitions and give ourselves over to praise and worship!!
Dotie David and Laura were here for two weeks over Christmas and I went with them to Bethel. It is amazing.
