Ocean Fishing: The most beautiful day of the year. Rough and chilly in the wee hours of the morning getting through Hecit Strait to Chattam Sound, but fabulous, sunny, and calm for the rest of the day. Eden caught the first fish, and then it was nonstop catching for hours after. We almost maxed our limit for salmon, but didn't get more than a nibble from the halibut. I caught the sun and enjoyed the excitement of every catch, although they did make me reel one...

Prince Rupert is definitely the end of the road, and surprisingly enough the only sunny spot on our trip so far! August first – the only day it hasn't rained on us!
