It's soooo hard to say good-bye! Thus we are still here - in the driveway. Naomi is with Sierra, Eden is counselling at Kids Camp, Eli is having a farewell party at Alex's... Tim and I are in our little home having just dropped off our beloved Bentley at his new home with Eric and Nicole Johnson... wow! The empty nest might be harder than I thought.
However, if you don't have a nest then it can't be empty! Our wonderful home of 10 years is up for sale - and looking the best it ever has - why is that? The next house I move in to is going to look like I'm moving out before I move in!
Tomorrow we gather the Smithlings and ready our wee little home. We have wondered of late if we shouldn't have bought an Ark instead of a 5th Wheel as the clouds just can't keep shut. I think we could float quite well through most of BC this year.
Saturday is a Holdstock/Little reunion from the good-ol' Goodlow days. It will be a hoot if I can remember back that far! Lorne is my oldest friend on earth - and a very good one at that. I can't wait. "Think Big - vote Little!"
