As soon as we got to Phi Phi we fell in love with the island, this is what we thought Thailand would be like!!...it was the most beautiful place i have ever been, apart from the Maldives. The sea was so blue and crystal clear, it had really nice rock formations around the sea and island, it was so nice and chilled out compared to Phuket.
We spent the first afternoon sunbathing, and exploring the small island, it had a really nice vibe about it, later on we headed out for dinner, then onto a beach bar for many cocktails, we watched a cool fire show into the early hours. Got back to the hotel room, which was the worst hotel i have ever been to in my life!!! and it was the most expensive hotel we had been too, i could hardly sleep i didnt feel clean at all!!..plus the was the louded noise coming from the jungle behind us, and i kept thinking of snakes getting into our hut which was hardly secure....and to top it all off, half way through the night i decided to look under my bed, wish i bloody hadnt, there was a used condom under it!!! WORST HOTEL EVER.
We woke up early as we were out on a trip for the last day, we opted for the cheapest trip which was with a local man on his wooden boat!!..there was 7 of us on the trip. We first stopped into one of the bays and went swimming and snorkling. We then headed further out and into Maya bay where the beach was filmed!!...How ever the guide didnt pre warn us that his boat wasnt sea worthy enough to go into Maya Bay so he told us to jump off and swim in the rough sea, across to the steepest, wettest steps you had ever seen, some of the people on the trip were not happy!! haha...luckily this Russian man had a waterproof bag and let us put our camera in, or we would of had no pictures. Once we had looked around Maya Bay, we headed back to PhI Phi, the sea was getting rougher by the minute and as you can imagine in the small wooden boat, the waves were crashing over us the whole way, it was quite exciting, but glad we didnt sink because there was no safty jackets on board...Asia's health and saftey is none exsistent.
