As we arrived in KL it was storming so bad!!..we got soaked just running of the bus into cover, but Malaysia has a tropical rain forrest climate so you cant go and not expect it to rain...We got a taxi and headed to the hotel, well no Marcus had to run across the motoway in the storm to go to a cashpoint first, to be fair to call it a storm is an understatement.

The hotel was amazing!!..it cheered us up as soon as we checked in and got in the room, we had a suite, with a huge lounge and massive windows that had a cool view of the city, it was a nice, modern, big change from the beach hotels we stayed in!!...as the weather was so bad we decided just to eat in the hotel that night. All the Malaysians we had met had been so nice and helpful, i would say the best service and friendlyness i had ever come across in my life, which was a nice change from the Thai's.

The next day we headed down to breakfast, we hadnt had breakfast included for over a month, infact we have barly even eaten breakfast since Bangkok. There was so much choice, i headed straight for the sweet things i can never resist, Pancakes, Donuts, Cakes etc...Marcus went for every type of egg you can imagine...we ate so much we went up and had a quick nap before heading out to explore the city haha.

The following day we found a street food area!! we were so pleased the foods always so good and so cheap, i never thought i would prefer going to them over resturants but i do now, they have the atmosphere you imagine asia to have and the foods always better. The following dat we got up at 6am, and got a taxi over to the Petrinas Twin Towers, we had to queue early or you dont get a ticket, they are the 5th tallest in the world so it had to be done. I have to say though we were both disapointed once we got up there, it was all inside, you had a 20 minute slot and the view just wasnt all that because you were in the middle of all the sky scrappers. In the taxi back to the hotel, the driver warned us not to go out that night, incase of riots and trouble because of there election, we certainly picked the right time to come.

Last day we jumped on a coach and headed to Singapore......
