Zvi Josef's Travels
WOW, what a day!
Got to a late and lazy start, woke up at 9:30, had breakfast, checked out at 12:30 and headed to Lisbon airport.
Took our first flight from Lisbon to Zurich with Swiss. They had amazing service and very nice leg room.
Zurich airport was very disappointing - while it was lovely, it was VERY expensive (as can be expected), but there were no special Swiss choclates there, too.
We then took our second flight from Zurich to Paris, which was short and nice. Despite Swiss' reputation, the flight was delayed for like 30 minutes, so upon landing in Paris, we had to run run run!!!
We landed in Paris and waited for our luggage. We then had to take a train to terminal 2 (we landed in terminal 1) and run for almost 10 minutes to the other side of the terminal in order to check in. We got there apx. 10 minutes before the check in was closed, and we were sweating as if we ran a marathon. So we decided to take some clothes out of our suitcases, go refresh ourselves and get into new clothes.
The airport in Paris was big, but since it was a night flight (El Al), most of it was already closed.
The flight itself was surprisingly NOT overbooked, and was 100% full, which kinda felt like sardines.
