Today was all about nature watching. First we we t on a drive by the long lake next to town. Then we we t to see Hengifoss fall, which was too difficult to reach. We later started driving in the beautiful eastern fjords. We ended the day in the stunning village of Seydisfjordur, where we had an early dinner. Tomorrow we are off to the north.

We started off our day walking through a lovely park with dual waterfalls near the hotel. We then drove to Skaftafell park and took a one hor walk to the beautiful black waterfall and some more waterfalls. We then drove to the small ice lake of Fjallarlon and then continued to the real thing -Jokulsalron, which was stunning. We then went to Hofn for some refreshments and started the long and lonely way to Egilsstadir - some 320 kilometers away, some in snowy area...
