We took an early flight, landed in Athens, took a Metro to town where we waited forever for the hotel's shuttle to pick us up. It did not and after an hour, we took a taxi tto the hotel.
We got a VIP check in and were upgraded to a beautiful deluxe suite with Acropolis view.
We then took a shuttle and Metro to town, visit the archeological museum, a closed library and did some walking.
As the weather was too rainy for comfort, we headed back to the hotel for some lounging and food rather early.
Later in the evening we went downtown to feel the Christmas spirit. :-)
