Spent the morning on the internet trying to sort out accomodation for next week. Hannah and I were hoping to get the overnight train to Harbin on Monday night, but we couldn't get tickets and have to go Monday afternoon. I had made the hotel reservation for Tuesday and Wednesday so I was trying to change it but Hostelworld say on their website to contact the hotel directly and when I wrote to the hotel they said to speak to Hostelworld. I then tried contacting Hostelworld who said they would get back to me within 72 hours - it'll be too late then!!! In the end we just booked an extra night at a different hostel as the hotel appeared to be fully booked. Had a wander around Nanjing this afternoon - I do think of all the city's I have visited in China so far this is my favourite. It's very laid back and feels very 'Chinese'. Had dinner in a very average noodle place just because they had an English menu then wandered around the markets until it was time to catch my train just before midnight.
