Well no surprise I woke up with a banging headache & felt quite rough, I had been sick when we got back to the hotel & Kurt took great pleasure in reminding me. We missed breakfast & got an Uber to the airport. The journey wasn’t the best it was really busy & I felt worse as the morning went on in fact I don’t know how I made it to the airport in one piece! Kurt felt worse as the day went on & the plane journey wasn’t great we had quite a lot of
Turbulence midway through the flight which was just what I could of done without! It was hot when we landed in Salvador & the taxi to the hotel took about 40 minutes! We had no idea what to expect but had been told to stay safe & careful, the hotel was pretty dated & didn’t look at all like the pictures. We checked in & went up to the pool bar which overlooked the bay, it felt run down & a let down for us with it being our last stop in South America. We decided to get a good nights sleep then look into our options in the morning! That never happened, the bars below the hotel played live music & samba drums until half 4 in the morning, Kurt went down to speak to reception who advised him to return in the morning!
