We packed up our backpacks ready for moving onto Salvador tomorrow, I went to the gym which was on the top floor over looking Copacabana & sugarloaf quite a view for a morning work out! We went for a walk up to our favourite beach bar & a bite to eat then we went back to the hotel & up to the roof terrace bar for the England game. It was just a friendly against Costa Rica before the World Cup started, we had a few Caipirinha which have turned into my new favourite drink ha! I FaceTimed my sister who had been sunbathing in Burnley it’s currently red hot & Rio was raining again! We have been pretty lucky with the weather for most of the trip so we couldn’t complain! We went out around the bars near the hotel they were packed as the local Rio derby was on Flamengo Vs Fluminense, we had a few gins at happy hour & then finished the night off with a few too many caipirinhas. We had a pretty late one considering we were flying in the morning but as usual an unplanned night always ends up being the best ones
