Kurt went back down to reception first thing & spoke with the manager the only option was to move to the back of the hotel which had no view & the rooms were basic! We decided to move hotels I had a look for one nearby & we packed up! The manager gave us a full refund & was very apologetic so we weren’t losing out we picked a bigger hotel near the centre. It was much nicer, it had a lovely bar & restaurant then a pool bar & terrace, we had definitely made the right decision when we got to our room! We had 5 days in Salvador & having been warned about it being unsafe to go out we knew we would be in the hotel quite a lot so it needed to be nice! We went down to the pool for a few hours then had room service in the evening we needed to catch up on sleep & start again tomorrow.
