So Steve left yesterday. I've had an insanely amazing two weeks traveling with him. Its rare to meet people, who have literally grown up on opposite sides of the world, who just click. Was a bit of a sad goodbye, but I have a feeling I'll be seeing him again.
A couple who we met at the cooking class in Hoi An, are also here in Haoni, so met up with them last night for some drinks and street food, which was nice. Also met then today and we did the HanoiKids tour.
Basically its group of uni students who want a chance to practice and improve their English. So they will take you round some tourists stops, all for free, in exchange you chat with them and pay for their entrance fees. Not a bad deal at all and I really did have a great day. We went to the Ho Chi Minh Museum, it's crazy how much they love him. Then we took a nice walk to the temple of literature, where the first university was built, before heading to a super quirky café for drinks. Then me, Natalia and Josh sat in a nice cafe and chatted for a few hours over tea and cheese cake.
All packed up now and ready to leave Hanoi. Catching the overnight train to Dong Hoi, which has been recommended by josh, as I don't quite feel ready to leave Vietnam yet.
