Yesterday was such a good day. Spent the day walking the streets of Sydney, went back down to the Sydney Opera House to see it in the day. Then had a walk through the botanical gardens and after some shopping went back to the hostel. Literally love the hostel, it's so nice! Well we were very sad to say bye to Byron Bay yesterday. Defiantly need to spend a few more days there sometime in the future. Spent 10 hours on the road yesterday making our way south. Was a good drive, had plenty of stops and drove through some beautiful landscapes. Stayed in a rest stop just an hour outside of Sydney and spent our final night in Paul. Sad times. So Byron Bay is bloody beaut. Arrived last night and went to town for one. Got good vibes from the get go. Headed back out again to a rest stop for the night, then drove back in in the morning. Firstly we headed to the lighthouse, which happens to be the most easterly point of Australia. As you can imagine, stunning views. Masses of sea, was hoping to see some whales, but sadly no luck :(. Still pretty cool. Stopped at the cafe to enjoy an ice cream with a view....

So arrived here last night, after missing the turning and having to drive a good 15 miles back. Arrived on a Saturday night and it was literally a scene from magaluf or something. Was buzzing with lights and people. Still massively tired from our night before that we headed to a campsite, did some laundry and went straight to sleep. So our dinner out last night turned into getting in at 6:30am. Such a random but good night. Started off at this one bar/club which half of it was an outside terrace and had the city all lit up as a back drop. Was stunning but also very expensive. Remembering we are actually traveling we headed to a backpackers club called Down Under, what a dive, but it was amazing. Spent the whole night dancing away to some right tunes.
