What an amazing three days I have had. Absolutely loved my easy rider tour. Nearly 350 kilometres around some of Vietnams countryside. We had beaut weather for the whole trip, which was just the cherry on top.
My driver, phill (after Phil Collins) was such a babe. Really funny and so friendly. Was a nice safe driver and finished the tour without scratch on me.
We did lots of sight seeing things, like a coffee farm, where we tried weasel coffee. We also went to a little home where they made rice wine, a coco farm, a really cool water fall and swam in a little lagoon. Playing around with Steve's go-pro and lost my 7th pair of sunglasses. Rode through some amazing lakes, rice fields, farms and tiny tiny little villages, where some of the people don't even speak Vietnamese but there own local language. Lots of people stopped to take photos with us. Kids would hold out there hands to high five us as we went past, felt like a right celeb.
We drove through some of the most beautiful countryside I've ever seen. Probably the best way to describe it is. it was like driving through Jurassic Park. There's also something just so liberating about being on a motorbike. Steve had his own which did look cool, but I wasn't up for learning how to ride one. Me and Charlottle stuck to being passengers. Dad was right though, bum was numb for most of the journey. Really didn't think it would hurt haha.
Because I was originally doing the tour on my own, the first night I stayed in a hotel. But then for the second night they arranged us all to stay together.
We have eaten nothing but Vietnamese food for the past three days, so I'm feeling pretty thin. Didn't always agree with me though.
Being dropped of in Nha Trang today where are tour comes to an end and I get to see Josh. So looking forward to seeing him.
