Checked out and had the short ferry over to Koh Samui. What a shock checking into our Hotel was (Deva Resort and Spa), it is stunning. And well after three months of hostel life, I think some days spent in a bit of luxury is well deserved.

Chels wasn't feeling well the day we checked in, so I had the afternoon by the pool and then went to a cute restaurant near by for dinner.

Next day I won't up feeling ill, bloody food poisoning again! Powered through most of the morning as the pool was just too tempting, but then the smell of lunch made me throw up. So spent the rest of the day in bed. Was a pretty sweet place to be ill really, gorgeous clean room with a clean bathroom and big comfy bed. Got to lie in bed and watch DVDs all afternoon, which gave me that bit of home comfort you need with ill.

Woke up feeling loads better so we had a first full day by the amazing infinity pool. Was a pretty lush day. Ventured into town that evening for dinner. Koh Samui is a very holiday place and were a lots of resorts and very nice restaurants to chose from. Was nice having a bit of posh grub.

Yesterday we spent the morning by the pool and then went back into town to a place called Arc Bar. There was a pool party going on and we met up with some guys we met at the hostel during full moon. One of which Chels has mutual friends with back home (such a small world). Had a great afternoon and then me and Chels found ourselves another lady boy show.

Koh Samui is a very different scene at night. Lots of bars with Thai girls all dressed up sat outside the front, people trying to sell you crap, including kids. We didn't hang round and got a taxi back to our lovely beds.

Today is our last day together. Weather has been pants, rained a lot. So we've chilled in our room watching films. It's been so nice being somewhere so lovely for 5 wholes days. I feel so relaxed. The spa treatments I had this afternoon have also certainly helped. Had a scrub followed by the best massage I've ever had, ever!

We've just got back from dinner and heading to bed how. Doesn't really feel like tomorrow we will be parting it's weird. I'm also gutted to be leaving this amazing hotel. It's attention to cute little details is amazing. And breakfast, well it's right up my street, set right on the beach.

But it's back to traveller life for me tomorrow, back on the road I go!
