Brisbane is probably the nicest city we have ever been to, it is so clean and they seem to have the right mix of business and pleasure. The skyscrapers look amazing but there are so many parks and gardens for you to just sit and relax - we loved it. We spent time exploring the city by day and night and then on our last day paid a visit to Australia Zoo - "home of the Crocodile Hunter". The zoo was the best we have ever been too, the animals were looked after so much but it was really sad because everywhere you went there were pictures and videos of Steve Irwin and his family. We saw some amazing crocs, didn't realise how powerful their jaws are! the noise they make when they shut their mouths - i won't be going near any rivers soon. It was really interesting because they taught us all about different animals, how they hunt and what to do if we were attacked. We even got to cuddle a koala - they are so cute and furry! All they do allday is sleep in weird positions on trees and chew on leaves, i don't know how they manage to stay on the tree!
