Bula from Fiji! Arrived in Fiji to tropical thunderstorms which wasn't our initial image of Fiji. On the second day the local town flooded up to waist height water overnight. Spent our last few days in and aroud Auckland. We just explored it and David decided to jump off the Skytower - tallest base jump by wire in the world. And he did it twice!! You can see it on the photo - pretty high! I was not tempted!!! Walked around the parks and the harbour before saying our goodbyes to New Zealand.

Spent the day cruising around the Bay of Islands. We went through the famous 'Hole in the Rock' before having a picnic lunch on a secluded island. We managed to see lots of Bottlenose dolphins swimming around us too, they were huge. We finally reached the top end of New Zealand's North Island, Cape Reinga. We saw where the Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean and you can actually tell where they meet! After that we headed off down Ninety Mile Beach where we stopped off to do some sand-boarding down huge sanddunes. Its fun when you eventually get to the top, its agony on the way up! We visited Hot Water beach where at low tide you can dig your own hot thermal spa on the beach. Pure streams of hot water would fill our pool and make it so hot we were grateful when the tide would wash into our spa and cool us down. That was until the tide completely knocked down our carefully constructed wave barrier and were left with no more than a dip in the sand.
