Day 104 Hue - Hanoi

We arrived in Hanoi and 6 am in the morning, the boys were freezing cold as they still had shorts and vests on from the day before. We checked in the hotel and somehow ended up with all three of us sharing a room. We also managed to book a trip to Halong Bay for $38 each, this is what tiredness does to you. So far Hanoi reminds us of India. We had a two hour sleep and then went on the hunt for breakfast, this took ages as everything is shut for TET (Vietnamese New Year). We ended up in a nice place, where we ordered the cheapest food and had amazing coffee. It is really really freezing in Hanoi so we ended up in the Cinema, which is also about the only thing that is open. I had to leave half way through, as I had really bad stomach ache and was sick. The guys watched the whole film (The Tooth Fairy!!!), we got a rip off taxi back to the hotel. I stayed in and the guys went to get some dinner and bumped into Becky and Ellie. Rog came to see how I was and we went back out to meet everyone. We walked around again for dinner and eventually ended up having a burger and chips on the street. It was the New Year celebration and everywhere was heaving, it was really good fun and we went to the famous Hoan Kiem Lake to watch the fireworks to see a Happy Lunar New Year.
