Day 97 Mui Ne to Nha Trang
We went to Joe’s for breakfast, and then waited around at the bus station for the coach to Nha Trang. We weren’t able to sit next to each other on the coach, which was a bit annoying, but we both slept for the majority of the journey. Rog originally was lying at the back of the coach with 4 other Vietnamese guys-nice!
We arrived in Nha Trang about 7.30 pm and checked into a nice GH, which was very cheap and had a balcony, bonus. Heading out for dinner we stumbled across a place which served Pho Bo and Pho Ga, our favourite! I couldn’t eat all of mine. Rog finished it off, and then felt really sick, he looked like he was going to have a heart attack, so our evening ended pretty pronto (he’s okay though, just ate to much the fatty)!!
Day 98
Vinpearl Land yay!!!!! After a quick breakfast we started our assault to Vinpearl land – Vietnams answer to Disney land. The walk proved a little further than we had anticipated, so we ended up on the back of two motorbikes to take us to the cable cars, which take you across to the park which is an island in the sea. Once on the cable car the view was amazing and very beautiful, it is the largest cable car stretch across water in the world!!
On arriving, Rog dragged me (made me run) to the water park. It was awesome, and so quiet. The rides were pretty impressive, and we had a go on everything. One ride called Tsunami was the scariest I’ve ever been on. This may be due to the fact that the man pushed us off the top- thanks. We spent about 3-4 hours here. We also had our own private little beach which was beautiful.
The worlds longest aquarium was next. This was amazing; it had sharks, sting rays and big turtles. We were like 2 children it was brilliant. Onto the theme park, first off was the swing carousel and a rollercoaster, all okay but enough to make you feel sick! Into the indoor games. Rog loved this – he’s like a little kid, especially liking the shoot’em ups and racing car arcades. Got home via the cable car again and taxi. In the evening we phoned the parentals before Chels came on the box.
Day 99
We got up early and headed for the mud bath and mineral spa. This was really good, we shared a mud bath that made your skin feel silky smooth. We then had a hot needle hydrotherapy shower, this was also nice. We then got into a hot mineral spa, which we stayed in for about 45 minutes, it was amazing. We both felt really good afterwards, a bit wrinkled but silky smooth. We spent the afternoon lazing around by the 40˚C swimming pool, which was slightly too hot especially as it was 30˚C outside anyway. I then had my beard trimmed and my ears de-waxed – hooray! The de-waxing was disgusting and nearly made Em throw up – lol! Back to our hotel and onto a café for lunch, while we waited for our sleeper bus to Hoi An. All aboard! Hav’n driven around Nha Trang what seemed like three times and ending back where we started, we finally made our way to Hoi An.
