Day 7 & 8

After a journey that should have only taken 10 hours, we arrived at the 'stunning' Hotel Apollo 20 hours after leaving our hotel in Varanassi. Instead of doing our usual nap before heading out, we caught an auto-rickshaw straight away to the Taj-Mahal. In Hindsight we we should have gone first thing in the morning like recommended as it was seriously rammed. Despite it being very busy, the Taj was still amazing to see and easily the greatest thing we've seen so far. Later in the eve we had a meal on one of the many rooftop restaurant's that has a view of the Taj Mahal and as this was our only real meal of the day, we pigged out.

Waiting to catch a train today, fingers crossed it doesn't take 20 hours....
