Day 25: We were staying another night in the Hunter Valley so a relaxing day ahead. The sun was out and by breakfast it was already too hot to contemplate anything strenuous so we headed to the Hunter Valley Gardens. Day 24: The weather had improved, and the morning was dry, although still not sunny. Perfect conditions for our Grand Canyon walk. Starting at Evans Lookout we dropped down to the canyon floor through along a stepped path. The canyon was humid, feeling much like rainforest, the trees and ferns holding the moisture in the air.
