So last night we checked in with Duffy one last time and had a lovely Italian meal just opposite the spot where a Great White had reportedly munched a man just off Cottesloe beach that day! We ate beef cheek fettucini and linguini with crab and chilli, and Duffy treated us to a suburb bottle of Barossa Valley Shiraz. After a coffee and a few tim tams (forgot how good these are!) we headed to bed. Thanks again to Duffy for fab hospitality in his amazing new pad! Today we went into Perth centre on the train. It was a gorgeous day and we spent it wandering round town, checking out the bell tower (see pic, the tower houses the original Bells of St Martins, from the nursery rhyme 'oranges and lemons'), having a pint at 'The Lucky Shag' (well, it is our honeymoon after all!) and walking along the banks of the Swan river. We rocked up at Gill and Bernie's (relatives of Ian's) and we had a fab evening in their beautiful home with a lovely home cooked roast beef dinner and plenty of vino - yum!!
