We went on the Monorail to KLCC (city centre) to have a look at the Petronas Towers today. They were pretty impressive! There is quite a nice park beside the towers which we took a wander round and we also had a mosey round the shopping centre there. Not much to look at but it was air conditioned (sometimes that's all you want!) and it had a fairly extensive food court. Today we set out to explore KL. We wanted to go to the Lake Gardens to visit the bird park and orchid and hibiscus gardens. We firstly passed by the old station noted for its superb architecture and is where Ian's dad stayed when he came here earlier this year (hi Keith!). We left fairly early today to head to the bus station in Singapore. I must admit I wasn't expecting much but it was the best bus ever!! It was like first class on a plane (see pic!). The seats fully reclined, there were individual TVs to watch films on and it had great air con. Don't get this on the national express! All this for under £20, and this was the more expensive one.
