I can't believe my time in London has almost come to an end! I am still enjoying every minute, although I'm also excited to come home. On Monday evening I saw 'Woman in Black' with my theatre class. It was a pretty scary play, but at least it didn't disturb my sleeping patterns! Wednesday was the last day of my internship. My co-workers even took me out for dinner after work, which was very nice. On Friday afternoon, Laura and I had high tea at the Dorchester before seeing Les Mis again. Laura received a backstage tour for her birthday and invited me to come along. I learned a lot of secrets about putting on a musical production, which was cool. On Sunday morning Laura and I attended Hillsong London for church, which was amazing!! Hillsong is a mega-church that meets in the Dominion Theatre in London. There are literally thousands of people worshiping God and it feels like a Christian concert. I loved it and I'm a little disappointed that I didn't visit before now! If I get a good start on packing, I might try to go back next week.
It has finally began to warm up here in London, so it's too bad I'm leaving soon! It got up to 75 degrees today, which was a nice change from the usual rain and cooler temperatures. This afternoon my flatmates and I walked to Abbey Road to see the Beatles memorabilia. We even took a picture walking across the infamous crosswalk, which was actually pretty challenging considering how busy the street is! Tomorrow is my final day of class, which I will be happy to be finished with. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice as well, so I'm planning on walking along the Thames to see the major sites of the city one last time. On Wednesday our flat is planning a trip to Hampton Court to tour the palace and gardens. I will be visiting the Winstanley's in Crewe Thursday through Saturday, right before heading back to the States on next Monday!
