We spent the day walking the city by foot, checked out the railway station to be sure that we know where to catch the train tomorrow as it is stopping enroute from Saigon so we'll need to board quickly. We walked through a lot of local districts and small markets full of beautiful flowers and fruit.
We also found a supermarket - the very first we have seen in over a fortnight in Vietnam. It was really interesting to check out the prices as there aren't even any 7 eleven shops here and nothing is priced in any of the very small shops. As Vietnam definitely operates on local prices and tourist prices we had a feeling that we'd been overcharged on every purchase but on comparing we found the difference to be just a few pence between local shops and the supermarket.
Dinner was at another trip advisor recommended restaurant (Zucca) and for the first time we both ordered an alternative to local food - Italian and very good it was too.
