We're coming to the end of our time in Hoi An now having enjoyed every moment. The people have been so lovely and greet us as old friends now as we walk around the town. An early start today as we had booked a tour to My Son, a collection of 4th century temples situated about 1.5 hours drive from Hoi An Once again we managed to beat the crowds and amazingly the sun shone so we saw this fantastic place at it's very best. The temples are constructed from bricks with no mortar and the jury is still out on how this was achieved. Back to the hotel by mid afternoon for a well earned rest before dinner on the terrace. A perfect day.

We arrived in Hoi An at lunch time, the weather is much cooler at the moment not what we are used to and the area is catching the tail end of the typhoon. The hotel is lovely and our room overlooks the river, we are here for seven nights so plenty of time to get to know the area. Or first job was to drop our washing into the laundry next door.
