We headed off from our free camp at Albert Tognolini to go to Port Headland. We were heading the right direction as we came across road train after road train going from the Port back to mines toward Newman. We arrived in Port Headland around lunch time. We were surprised how industrial the port town is. Only to discover it is the largest bulk tonnage export port in the world, exporting 372.3 million tonnes per year. The kids played in the park whilst we watched a large ship being pushed out to of the port by three hard working tug boats. We had a look around Port Headland and did some shopping in the afternoon before heading around 30km out of town to a free camp called Degray River Rest. There were around 30 vans there and Charlie wasted no time in riding up to people on his bike and introducing himself.
