We arrived at Albany around 10:30am today. First stop a McCafe for a much needed brewed coffee. Then onto a the Big 4 caravan park on Middleton Beach. Mackayla is in her element now, a beautiful park with a pool and spa and right on the beach. It's her 9th birthday tomorrow so we are spoiling her. She hates bush camping and in her words thinks it's "disgusting". By 10:50am we were all in the pool. First impressions of Albany are it's a beautiful town. Everything appears immaculate and it just has a nice feel about it. One thing we have noticed here and in Esperance is the shops are closed on the weekends and Safeway for example shuts at 6:00pm on week nights. The idea is council driven and the theory is that parents will spend more time at home with their families.
