From our camp at Goovigen we headed south west through Biloela to Bundaberg. Biloela is a really interesting area. Heavily irrigated, it looks amazing. Everthing from sugar cane to wheat and pinaples is grown here. We also came across a massive coal mine and power station just out of Biloela. The kids were up early and keen to have one last swim before we set off. We left our overnight stop and headed south toward Rockhampton, stopping at Capricorn Caves around lunch. A very early start today to get down to Cruise Whitsundays terminal by 6:30am. The cruise vessel was much bigger and flasher than I expected. We chose to sit indoors on the upper deck. We arrived in Airlie Beach on the 30th of August and after lunch checked into a Top Tourist caravan park. The weather was beautiful, around 29 degrees.
