Rentsch's Around Australia Take Two
We left out free camp hoping to get to Longreach. Weather was 32 degrees. Stopped at Blackhall for lunch and the kids had a good play in the playground. We stopped again in the afternoon at Barcaldine to fill our water tanks and check out the tree of knowledge. During the 1891 National Shearers Strike the formation of the Australian Labor and Political Movement (Australian Labor Party) emerged from beneath this tree, the tree of knowledge.
