Well, a holiday in the sun, wouldnt be a holiday in the sun without a burnt arse! I am so red on my backside, as well as the middle of my back. Trying to get after sun on the burns last night was amusing!

I didnt do very much last night, I was exhausted from the Whitsunday Island trip, and thought it would be best to detox from the alcohol! I met my new dorm mates, just for one night. They are from New Zealand and are over here for a two week holiday. Ive just left them in bed because its 07:25 here on Saturday morning.

Im leaving Airlie Beach today. The bus is picking me up at 11:10 and I will be on the bus for six and a half hours to Rockhampton. There isnt much to do in Rockhampton, but I wanted to stay overnight to break up the journey. I have another six hours bus journey on Sunday morning at 06:35 to Hervey Bay.

I am really looking forward to getting to Hervey Bay because I am booked on the Fraser Island Tour. Basically, its a 4 wheel drive self tour, three day and two nights. Each passenger gets to drive the van themselves - this could be interesting! I hope they know what they have let themselves in for, by letting me join this tour! It even involves camping (yes camping!) under the stars for two nights in tents! What the hell am I doing?!
