Ive had a very relaxed day today, havent been doing very much at all (enjoying the sunshine and scenery & drinking beer on the beach - such a hard life)!

Ive walked around the town, which takes about twenty minutes to get from one end to the other! The beach here is lovely, you'll see by the pictures, they even have a man made lagoon.

I checked out of the Beached Hostel and checked into Koalas at the other end of the town as tonights accommodation is included in my Whitsunday Tour which I start tomorrow. Im staying in a chalet, which can sleep up to six people, but theres only me and one guy in there at the moment. Im yet to talk to him to find out what his plans are - he may be on the tour with me tomorrow, who knows!

So tomorrow, I board the 'Pride of Airlie' for a three day / two night sailing trip around the Whitsundays. I am really looking forward to it because we do and see so much in a space of three days. The tour includes sailing around the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, South Molle Island and Whitehaven Beach. One night will be spent on board the catamaran and one night will be in a resort on the South Molle Island. All watersports, activites and evening entertainment are included so it should be some fun and I will finally be able to enjoy myself without having to worry about my backpack and what my plans are for tomorrow...etc.

I have just booked my bus route from Airlie Beach to Hervey Bay, Hervey Bay to Noosa Heads and Noosa Heads to Brisbane. I should be in Brisbane by the 15th September, where I will find some work for a couple of months before making my way back down to Sydney for Christmas nad New Year!
