Im actually in the middle of nowhere! I was dropped off to the bus station (which is a shed in the middle of a road) and was left there to find my way to the hostel! All I had was my lonely planet guide.. It was so funny considering I have no sense of direction!

Anyway, Ive spent the afternoon on the beach, and managed to burn the tops of my legs. Typical! They are sore now so I have just been to the shop to buy some aloe vera. Ouch!

There is no signal for my phone here, I have no change to use the payphone and the internet connection is down everywhere in the village, so it was literally a fight to get onto this computer for half an hour (dial up connection in the information office).

My bus is collecting me from Mission Beach tomorrow morning at 11:10 for a nine hour bus journey down to Airlie Beach where I will be spending five days, three of which are on a sailing trip around the Whitsunday Islands.

I met up with Tammy and her tour group last night at the tacky Woolshed and had an absolutely brilliant night! We were totally in love with the owner of the club and probably told him one too many times, but it worked because we ended up being taken through to the VIP area and were waited on hand and foot - literally! It suited me great, I was not complaining!

This morning, well... I have NEVER felt so ill in all of my life! I was so ill. I woke up to find about twenty people asleep in our dorm room, I had to step over two people just to get into the bathroom! And to top it all off, I slept ontop of a box of popcorn, so you could imagine the mess this morning!!

I made it to the bus stop in Cairns, which would have been a ten minute walk, but couldnt bear the thought of it, so I took a taxi, got out of the taxi and threw up EVERYWHERE! It was disgusting - I was so ill! The bus journey to Mission Beach took two hours and ten minutes, of which I was asleep for two hours and five minutes! Hehehehe!

Mission Beach is gorgeous, the scenery is amazing, and I was the only one on the beach for an hour or so! It was great!

Im planning on getting an early night tonight, theres literally nothing to do here, but swim, sunbathe and drink, so I think its for the best that I sleep!
