I spoke to Mum and Dad last night on skype - I cried and then had the major giggles when I saw them - it was so strange but so good to finally see them when I was talking to them! Its really cheered me up - I was like a child after I got off of the phone to them, was jumping up and down and everything! :-) Its been really warm today, so I had my fish and chips lunch on the beach and ready about six chapters of my book, in the sun - its a tough life! Day One of work - COMPLETE DISASTER!! Turns out that the contract they have put me and the other new girl; Melissa on, isnt full time, its on a casual basis which means we arent guaranteed to have hours each week, it would all depend on the business AND to top it all off, I was told I would be earning $20 per hour (about 8 pounds an hour) but infact we are actually on $12.50 per hour (about 4 pounds an hour)!!! I am gutted... Ive lost my memory card with my pictures on it I used it this morning to try and download the pictures onto my blog and I completely forgot to take it out of the computer when I left.
