We left The beaches for the rainforest today arriving mid-afternoon. The roads were a bit challenging when we got closer to Monteverde. The temps are much cooler here at the higher elevations and it rains 320 days a year. The views are spectacular from our hotel room.
We went on a night tour tonight in search of nocturnal "creatures". We mostly found insects and bugs including a tarantula. It was pretty fun to be out with the moon and stars shining yet a constant mist crossing the skies.
