We didn't rush up too early today. We just took our time getting up and ready and then went out for some breakfast at the same restaurant we went to last night. We both had a full big breakfast which was a lovely treat! We haven't had a proper breakfast in a while! The beans we interesting as they were cooked or blathered in garlic- not that I'd complain about that though!
We walked all the way up the beach to the big shopping centre to get some more bits and then relaxed on the beach for the rest of the day. It was the craziest beach we had been to! The waves were so big and rough it was ridiculous. You couldn't hardly get in without been knocked over never mind go for a swim! I ended up losing my sunglasses after been wiped out. Usually Nath that does that! He's lost 2 pairs already! The sea also had big dips in the sand so one minute you could stand and the next you couldn't. It was a giggle though but quite dangerous!
There was a nice sea breeze so it didn't feel too hot at all so it felt lovely just to lay out in the sun and relax. This is the life! The beach was so big that it didn't seem that crowded either so we had our own space. The wind and the big waves did mean we were constantly covered in sand everywhere though, blowing in our faces! Think we will get a sun bed tomorrow.
The sun disappeared behind the big hotels about half 4 so we walked back to our hotel to see about booking a bus to Hoi An where we are going next. We had already booked an extra night at this hotel and we wanted to relax a little longer so were staying until Saturday (7th). When we asked at our accommodation they rang and enquired about the buses and she was told that they were full until Sunday because it was really busy with it being near new year which is on the 9th for Vietnam. We didn't really have much choice so we booked another night in Nha Trang and booked the overnight bus for Sunday night, setting off at 7pm and arriving at 7am the next morning. We were prepared again- not!! I think we need to make sure we book our buses earlier. At least we were happy to stay here longer!!
For dinner we went out to a cheap restaurant just on the corner near ours. We had a couple of beers and ordered three dishes of food to share- some garlic noodles, some fried rice with meat and a dish of fried veg. It was one of the nicest Asian meals we have had in a long time! There was loads of food, it was so tasty and it was cheap!! After dinner we went back to the room and watched some films and chilled out with nibbles. We skyped my mum and dad and got to speak to gran Ryan too! We were staying up late lately, so getting up a bit later. We need to really get back into the habit of getting to bed at a normal time! But it has been good here to just relax and not rush about all the time.
