1st- 7th June 2017 It was a massive plane with Thai Airways from KL to Bangkok, Boeing 777-300ER. 3-3-3 seats across. It was only an hour and a half to Bangkok and then 1 hour 45 transfer before getting on the plane to Dubai with the same airline. It was a really nice airline Thai airways, probably our favourite. 27th May- 1st June 2017 The flight with Air Asia was okay. We didn't have TVs or anything again so nothing to watch and a pretty budget standard plane. It wasn't the best of flights and a little uncomfortable. KL airport was so so big, we got in just after 5am and got a taxi to the city which was about 45min. The currency here is MYR (Malaysian Ringgit). The exchange is around $1 to 3.5 myr of £1=5 myr. It was already 27 degrees when we got into the airport. ...

We went to check out at 12pm today but they let us keep the key to our room and leave our bags in there as they didn't have anybody else checking in. We headed out to the restaurant that we went to last night as we had left our brolly there. A member of staff had stolen the brolly and taken it home with them so we had to go back for it later once they had brought it back. We had a nice last lunch and then went to an internet cafe to upload and sort our pictures....

We got up at half 1 this morning! We managed to get some sleep so that was good! I never thought we would be getting up at 1.30am to do a sunrise trek up a volcanic mountain that's for sure! A guy came and picked us up at 2 in his people carrier and then went on to pick 4 more people up. There were only suppose to be 4 people to each trip with a guide but it doesn't bother us. After breakfast we chilled out on our balcony for the morning and then headed out for lunch for a cake and a coffee. We spent the rest of the day at Ubud Monkey Forest which was fun. There were walks around the forest and the monkeys were wild and running everywhere. If you had food they would sit on your shoulder but we decided against that as they didn't seem like the friendliest and we had heard of people getting bit!
