We left Aswan at about 9:30am this morning for our drive to Luxor, which would only take us until about lunch time. We got there at 1:30pm and just as the truck pulled in, I got a call from Ramez, asking me if I was in town yet.

I told him I had just pulled up and we agreed to meet up at about 2:30pm so we could catch up properly, as he had the whole day off today. It was nice to spend a bit more time with him and we had fun testing each other's knowledge about Egyptology, he is the only person I know, outside of University who can challenge me like that and knows things about Egypt that I don't.

I got a cab back to my hotel at about 5pm and went in the pool for a bit, before going to bed, we have a big day at the Valley of the Kings tomorrow.
