We have been in Phuket now for 4 days and we love it.

Our journey from Langkawi involved a half hour taxi ride with Malaysia's answer to Lewis Hamilton, he got us to the ferry terminal in record time. Then an hours ferry ride to Satan in Thailand and a seven hour bus journey to Phuket followed by a twenty minute taxi ride to our hotel.

We are staying in Karon beach (the posh bit) however we have been to Patong beach (if you are thinking Pat Pong - Ping Pong then your'e not that far away). The hotel we are in is great, two swimming pools one of which we have had to ourselves for three days.

Today we went to the Phi Phi Islands and visited the beach that was in a film called "The Beach" staring Leonardo DiCaprio. We'll upload the pictures as soon as we find a computer to take the job on!
