We've only been at the "Utopia Resort" in Koh Phangan for a few days but we love it. The resort is on the top of a hill with the most fabulous views. We had a very easy journey, by recent standards, to Koh Tao. The ferry takes about two hours from Koh Samui and then we got on a taxi boat and it took us up the coast of the Island to Mango Bay. We stayed in a bungalow (high up) on the side of the hill which gave us a great view over Mango bay and the gulf of Thailand.
