We had a great day yesterday on Lantau Island, we took the MTR (subway) to Tung Chung then got on a cable car to Ngong Ping 360 to see the Giant Buddha. 260 steps up in this heat is no fun, but the view was great. We have spent a few days here now and we love it! We have been to The Peak, to Stanley and Repulse Bay, we have watched the light show over the harbour, we visited Nan Lian Garden this morning and the flower and bird markets in Kowloon. It is very warm here, when we were on the beach at Repulse bay yesterday it was 34 degrees with 85% humidity and very sunny!
