We have been exploring Bangkok but it's hot so today we had a well deserved day by the pool! We leave here on Monday night on the overnight train to Chiang Mai in the North. We will be there for a few days before heading into Laos. For anyone who fancies Bangkok it's an amazing place, it's so busy and a complete contrast to Hong Kong. The ping pong show was an essential and very weird tourist experience though!

We are now in Bangkok. We eventually left Hong Kong in the typhoon which led to a 3 hour delay and a fairly shakey take off. The drive from the airport to the hotel was intersting with the taxi driver not knowing where the hotel was. The hotel is cool, we have a pool and more importantly a great bar 50 yards away called Gullivers which does awesome Thai food.
