The hostel is packed but I oddly I have the dorm to myself. 2 people moved in at 3am but like a whirlwind they had left by 8am. Mo has gone to the Thai immigration to extend her visa and I book the bus to Pai from the hostel. At 160 bhat (£3) each it's a good price. Searching for accomodation in Pai is harder as appears very popular. I sit with Harry. He's been trapped here waiting to contact his parents as he's run out of money. I take my stuff to Mo's. Great that I can dump my large rucksack at her hotel before we leave tomorrow morning and only need to take a daypack stuffed with what I need. Sam back in Scotland had posted on Facebook a few food reccommendatons so we go looking for a few of them, ending up at a Burmese restaurant called The Swan. I have never tried Burmese, but turns out to be very tasty, with unusual spicing but extremely balanced. Mo and I order similar curry dishes but the waitress gets them round the wrong way. When posting the details to Sam, I notice. Turns out Mo's dish was better! We find a bar called Loco Elvis across the moat. Live music and a great rendition of Yellow by Coldplay and Wonderwall by Oasis.
