We drove to Townsville so we could get the ferry over to Magnetic Island, we stayed in Townsville for one night but it wasn't that impressive, we were more looking forward to getting over to Magnetic Island. On the way to Cape Tribulation we passed through Daintree National Park and Rain Forest which had some spectacular views, so we stopped for some photos and coffee and then back on the road again. We finally went to pick up the camper van and we had a few minor set backs, when we arrived we were advised that all the roads out of Cairns were closed due to them being flooded, this is because all of the rain Cairns has been getting as its their wet season here.
